What to do in a Half Day in Sedona, AZ

On Day 4 of our Arizona trip, we checked out of our hotel in Flagstaff (Comfort Inn I-17 & I-40) to head out on our next adventure! The drive down HWY 89A through Oak Creek Canyon is beautiful and a must do if you are in the Sedona/Flagstaff area.

Once in Sedona, we wandered through many of the gift shops and stopped to each lunch at Sedona Beer Company. We sat on the outside patio with a beautiful view of the red rocks and enjoyed some beer, cider, and appetizers. After eating lunch and checking out a few more shops, we drove over to visit the Chapel of the Holy Cross! Don’t forget that the best view of the chapel is from down below by the entrance gate, so don’t forget to stop there before heading inside. We left Sedona just as it was a getting dark and a storm was rolling in.
